To understand this, you have to go to the house... the house... the house...
Profile Information
How would you describe yourself?
DJ and Producer, Music Junkie
What do you like to do when you're bored?
Make music!
Which artists have most inspired you musically?
Waaaaaaaaay too many to list. Virtually everything I've had more than a casual listen to. Anything from 60s soul to industrial. Lately, I've been drawing a lot of inspiration from 70s funk, namely George Clinton.
Name your favourite nightclubs
Don't really go out much. I don't enjoy the local electronic music scene because of all the silly DJ politics, and it's too far a drive and too expensive to make it out to Cleveland or Pittsburgh. I'd rather just produce for now until I can afford to show up at clubs and parties again.
M-Audio Keyrig 49, M-Audio Oxygen 8, my homemade talkbox, Yamaha TG-55, Korg Electribe A, Roland MC-09, Professor Television's Photo Theremin, and probably more. All of this gets tied into my home-built dualcore machine, running both Mac OS X and Windows XP and Propellerhead Reason 4.0, on Mackie MR-5 studio reference monitors. whew...

Bio written by DJ Caine
Each time you plug in your earphones, load one of his tracks in iTunes, or chill out with his latest CD on the car ride home, you’ll find yourself suddenly drawn into a particular compatible frequency with no escape…because you have an underlying notion that it was put there specifically for you.
In his 15 years of “electronica” producing tenure, 720k has managed to hone a fine craft out of creating his music in such a way that it speaks volumes of ingenious, clever, and spacious sound activities, in which its entire soul functions as a gateway for dimension jumping. 720k is a one-piece, live-PA, Electronica DJ/Producer who spends most of his time in the studio creating ambient, minimal, illbient, trip/hip-hop, techno, house and other electronica-related genres. Whether performing live or in the studio, 720k is dirty and functional at first, yet the more 720k you load into your system you will realize how technical the music becomes.
His roots stem from a solid diet of industrial dance, rock, and early electronic/techno. So the likes of KFMDM, NIN, Sister Machine Gun, Prodigy, Cirrus, Front 242, REM, Depeche Mode, Ramones, and many others are no strangers to the 720k playlist. With this curious selection of genres, he cuts in a mix of his own progressions of intellectual thought, spirituality, and life in his music to give it a serious connection with listeners. That connection will steal you from this world and supply a unique experience in sound where the organic meets with the autonomous.
To create the level of music that 720k consistently produces takes years of experience, research, and dedication that many other artists are unable to provide. Yet he does it with simplicity and function as if each song were a simple mathematical formula that connects you to his world.
So “Jack In” and I’ll see you there, riding a wave of high hats coupled with synthesizers that rival the space-time continuum, and completely at peace between the headphones…and remember one sole ideal: 720k put that sample “there” for you.

No, for some reason I can't install windows xp service pack 3. It just won't work and I don't feel like putting in the effort to make it work. I'm building a new computer at some point this week though so maybe it will work then.

I'm not too happy with the soundcard =/ Most windows programs seem to have trouble interacting with the device. (i.e. winamp, soundforge). I have to keep FL Studio open and playing just to keep a hold on it so other programs can use it.
