What equipment do you use?
2x Roland mc505(groovebox),Yamaha rm1x(groovebox),Yamaha PSR midi keyboard, ,turntables,mixer(2x),MiniDisk,coffee mug and ashtray ,and,thoug i said i'd never use one,a dualcore laptop.(for recording-edditing,and also mixing)

i work with 2 Roland mc505`s,and a Yamaha rm1x.(some old tracks involved a Roland jp8080,but,onfortunely,it died)
no laptop or pc is involved in producing,exept for edditing and recording).
for mixing,i use me decks,and the laptop,combining vynil,cd`s and mp3`s (I also use VirtualDJ/audaciti)
all trax are jams,so every time i`ll play them they`ll be a bit diffrent.
i,ve played live on small party`s,combining the groove box and sinth with vynil,couse i don,t have a sampler,and it works just as fine.
these trax are just the basic grooves,wich,wen prefomed live, i combine with vynil and parts from movies-sraight from the dvd player.
